If you make an initial enquiry either by phone or using our website form:

All information we collect from you will be held and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR. Your Employment Settlement Service Ltd processes Personal Data as a Controller (and in some circumstances as a Joint-Controller or a Processor), as defined in the UK GDPR.

So that we can give you initial legal advice we must gather and retain some personal data, including name, address, email & phone number, name of employer and some relevant personal characteristics.

If you do not become a client we retain this data securely for one year. We then delete it, except for your name, your employer’s name and details of the legal advice we provided. This information will be kept securely filed for six years for insurance reasons.

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is current and accurate. If inaccurate or incomplete data is identified, we will take steps to correct the data, or remove securely and confidentially.

You have the right to ask us to remove incomplete personal data held or delete all the personal information held. Should you wish to instruct us to delete please do so in writing to Your Employment Settlement Service Ltd, Third Floor, South Wing, Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA or by email to info@yesslaw.org.uk

Any data no longer required will be deleted or destroyed securely and confidentially.

Please note that our services are not directed to minors and persons under the age of 18 should not submit personal data using our enquiry form.
